Habenaria grandifloriformis
(Scientific name)
This is a common wild orchid of northern Western Ghats. It is also called as ‘Aashadh amari’ in Marathi. This is a terrestrial herb with white colored flower, found in an open habitat on hill slopes, endemic to Western Ghats, Widely distributed in Maharashtra and Goa.
